Join us at Southall Farms from
1-4pm on Monday, September 18.

Hosted by the Cumberland River Compact, NRCS Williamson County, Southall Farms, and Tennessee Local Food

Join us at Southall Farms where we’ll be talking all about terminating cover crops. We’ll demo roller crimping methods as well as a DIY crimper for small-scale use. We’ll be debating the merits of tilling in a cover crop versus spading, discing, or chisel plowing it in.

Demos will be followed by a panel discussion with Peyton Cypress, Hayley Roberts, Nora Roberts, and Resham Thapa, led by Williamson County’s NRCS 20-year veteran, Trent Cash.

Farm-fresh snacks will be graciously provided by Southall’s award-winning culinary team!
