Apply for the River Friendly Farms Grazing School with Greg Brann and Ira Jones.

Grazing specialist and farmer Greg Brann will lead this day-long workshop, with help from Ira Jones, the 2022 Davidson County Soil & Water Conservation District "Conservationist Farmer of the Year." The first part of the day will be spent in the "classroom" and the second half in the field. Topics covered will include plant species as indicators, stocking density, fence erection and management, and more! Lunch will be provided.

Lebanon, TN 37087 and the Neal Brothers Farm, Lebanon, TN.

Farmers who attend the Grazing School will be eligible to apply for funding from the Compact for tools and materials associated with managed grazing, such as fencing, chargers, and alternative watering sources.
