In April of each year since 1999, our Aveda network of salons, spas, Aveda Institutes and Experience Centers, dedicated beauty industry professionals, employees, and guests celebrate Earth Month, a month-long campaign with a simple mission to love, celebrate and raise funds to protect people, animals and the environment with a special focus on protecting clean water.

Support the Cumberland River Compact this Earth Month!

The Compact’s work aims to address the multifaceted root causes of water pollution to provide clean and abundant water throughout the Cumberland River basin. The work of the Compact is complex and wide-ranging as it spans an 18,000 square miles watershed of rugged wilderness, beautiful streams, and charming towns in the Cumberland River basin of Kentucky and Tennessee. We tackle these issues through strategic efforts in Stream Restoration, Mine Land Reforestation, Education and Engagement, River Friendly Cities, and River Friendly Farms.
